An illustrated key to the genera of Eumeninae from China, with a checklist of species (Hymenoptera, Vespidae) Naturalis

An illustrated key to the currently recognized genera of the subfamily Eumeninae (Vespidae) from China is presented together with a list of 267 species and subspecies, belonging to 51 genera. Nortozumia van der Vecht, 1937 is reported for the first time from China. Two replacement names are proposed for junior primary homonyms: Ancistrocerus rufofrustius Tan & Carpenter, nom. n. replacing Ancistrocerus rufopictus (Kostylev) and Orientalicesa confasciatus Tan & Carpenter, nom. n. replacing Orientalicesa unifasciatus (von Schulthess, 1934).

Key to the genera of Ephemerelloidea (Insecta: Ephemeroptera) from Brazil Biota Neotropica

A key to the Brazilian genera of Ephemerelloidea, nymphs and adults, belonging to the families Coryphoridae, Leptohyphidae and Melanemerellidae is presented. Currently, seven genera of this superfamily are known in Brazil. The Leptohyphidae is the most representative family, with five genera registered from the country, Leptohyphes Eaton, 1882, Leptohyphodes Ulmer, 1920, Traverhyphes Molineri, 2001, Tricorythodes Ulmer, 1920 and Tricorythopsis Traver, 1958. The families Coryphoridae and Melanemerellidae are monotypic, represented by Coryphorus Peters, 1981and Melanemerella Ulmer, 1920.

Terrestrial gastropods as Fragaria x ananassa pests in southern Brazil: morphological identification Ciência Rural

ABSTRACT: Considering the damage caused by terrestrial gastropods in strawberry producing areas in southern Brazil, this study aimed to i) identify the species associated with Fragaria x ananassa in rural properties in municipalities of Paraná State, Brazil; ii) describe and illustrate the diagnostic morphological and conchology features of the mollusk species; iii) construct an illustrated key based on these morphological and conchology features; iv) analyze two species collected in March 2017 to investigate the possible occurrence of parasitic nematodes of medical importance.
