The objective of this study was to investigate the effective impact force on paddy rice damage. The impact force stimulated via the drop head of the drop weight machine collided to the paddy rice kernel which was laid on load cell. The oscilloscope was used to show the signal of the output voltage from load cell and all data were recorded and analyzed by computer. The correlation of output voltage (E) and the impact force (F) was found with following equation, F= 0.0456E – 0.7091 with the coefficiency of determination (r2) = 0.9994. Four types of rice are Karm Nia, RD6, Khao Dawk Mali 105, and Niaw San Patong were selected to be harvested (2007) and last year harvested (2006).
