| An analysis of the results on the annual trend of the fishing activities in the beach seine, the fishing pole and the stick techniques, in terms of both fishing efforts and catches on the three reference sectors of the Marine Nature Reserve of Reunion island, was realized according to an indicator trend approach. On the Ermitage/La Saline area, the 2016 results highlight a significant increase of the fishing effort for the three practices. If the indices of catches by effort unit showed increases in 2016 for the beach seine and the fishing pole, a decrease of yields is observed for the stick technic.
