The aim of this study was to evaluate the interaction between the seed treatment with fungicides and insecticides and inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense and their effect on seed germination and early development of seedlings of maize and wheat. Two experiments were conducted with corn seeds and the other with wheat. The experimental design used in both trials was completely randomized design with four replications and treatments arranged in a 2x6 factorial, with the absence and presence of seed treatment and seed inoculated with different strains of A. brasilense: no inoculation, Ab-V5, Ab-V6, Hm53, SFO and IC26.
