Ultrastructural study of a parasite first reported in 1978 in Korea, in the oocytes of the Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas then reported again in 1984 in Chungmu Bay oysters. The observed stages are typical of those of the Paramyxea Levine 1980 group. The development consists of the production of secondary cells within a stem cell; these secondary cells then producing one tertiary cell.
