The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of culture filtrate of luminescent mushroom, Neonothopanus nambi (isolate PW2 and KKU2) on egg hatching and infective larvae (J2) of root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) in laboratory. The culture filtrates of N. nambi (PW2 and KKU2) inhibited significantly the egg hatching and caused mortality on J2 of M. incognita, compared to sterile distilled water and YMB medium. Culture filtrates of fungal isolate KKU2 and PW2 expressed the highest inhibition percentage of egg hatching of99.04 % and 98.85 %, respectively, and exhibited 100% mortality of J2 within 72 hrs after treated. Using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) to investigate biochemical compound change of nematode egg mass and using infrared... |
