| On the basis of offering a definition of New Rural Communities (NRCs), the paper analyzes the Values of New Rural Communities and argues that the construction of NRCs is able to contribute to the enhancement of the comprehensive agricultural production capability as well as the development of social productivity Meanwhile the incomes of the Rural residents can be boosted, which denotes the realization of a harmonious society where the achievements of China's reform and development are shared by each citizen.
