| New and rare hoverflies for the Dutch fauna (Diptera: Syrphidae). Paragus albifrons (Fallén), P. bicolor (Fabricius), Sphegina verecunda Collin, Neoascia annexa (O.F. Müller), Callicera aenea (Fabricius), Cheilosia caerulescens (Meigen), C. chloris (Meigen), C. flavipes (Panzer), Chamaesyrphus scaevoides (Fallén), Xylota coeruleiventris Zetterstedt, Merodon rufus Meigen and Eristalis picea (Fallén) are recorded with full details for the first time from The Netherlands. Some of these species have been listed by other authors but without any details. Here additional notes are given on the distribution and biology of these twelve species as well as 49 other more or less rare species. |

| Dactylorhiza purpurella is een goed herkenbare soort, die voornamelijk op de Britse Eilanden, in Denemarken en in het zuiden van Noorwegen voorkomt. De zuidoostelijke begrenzing van het verspreidingsgebied is te vinden op het Deense waddeneiland Rømø. Dit is niet ver van Schiermonnikoog verwijderd, waar de soort meer dan twintig jaar voorkomt, maar waar hij pas in 2015 als zodanig herkend werd. Dactylorhiza purpurella is a well known species, which is mainly distributed in the British Isles, Denmark and the southern part of Norway. The southeasternmost area of its distribution is the Danish Wadden Sea Island of Rømø.
