| Garlic (Allium sativum) is one of the important bulb crops grown in India used as the basic ingredient for cooking, pickle industries, hotels, wedding halls, and also for some medical purposes etc. Garlic has higher nutritive value than other bulb crops. Processed products of garlic are in good demand in local market, in defense food supply, fast food industries and exported to exotic markets.
