Prüfung der Landi-Kirschenfliegenfalle in Raps und Kirschen 2013 Organic Eprints

Die gelbe Leimfalle Rebell®amarillo wird standardmässig zur Flugüberwachung von Schädlingen im Raps- und Kirschenanbau eingesetzt. Die Rebell®-Falle ist jedoch vergleichsweise teuer und materialintensiv. Zwar ist eine mehrfache Nutzung der Falle nach Reinigung und Wiederbeleimung möglich, die meisten Produzenten scheuen jedoch den hohen Arbeitsaufwand. Im letzten Jahr wurde ein neuer Fallentyp von „Fenaco UFA-Samen Nützlinge“ entwickelt. Dieser neue Fallentyp ist für den Einweggebrauch konzipiert und daher preisgünstiger und weniger materialintensiv in der Herstellung. COMPARISON OF HEALTH STATUS BETWEEN ORGANIC AND CONVENTIONAL PRODUCTS Organic Eprints
This paper reports results of to trial carried out to estimate the hygienic-sanitary of samples obtained from organic farming in comparison with products obtained from conventional agriculture. In three years of activity were carried out analysis on samples common or durum wheat, and processing products like flour, bran, macaroni and bread, obtained from biological and conventional method. Also samples of vegetables and fruits were analysed. The laboratory analyses have been focalized qualitative on quantitative and evaluation of fungal contamination and surveying of pesticide residues level. Challenges of Organic Arable Farming 5th module: Crops specific problems and potential solutions in cereals, legumes, fruits and vegetables Organic Eprints

This module highlights the main challenges in the cultivation of five crop categories (cereals, legumes, oil crops, tubers and fruit trees), focusing on the yield limiting factors. The module discusses the reasons behind yield gaps between organic and conventional production as well as key pests and potential solutions. It provides management skills to develop a suitable and integrated management strategy for each discussed crop category. This module is targeting a wide range of categories of students, farmers, advisors …etc. The module is based on a PowerPoint presentation containing a theoretical background and supported by related specific tools (practice abstracts, leaflets, guidelines, data calculation tools, videos, books, reports, web pages etc.)...
