The fauna of carangids fish from the French Atlantic is given. The number of known species has increased from 5 in 1950 to 10 now. Among, two are common Trachurus trachurus and T. mediterraneus. The others are rare. T. picturatus caught in 1965 has not recorded since. Naucrates ductor and Trachinotus ovatus have been recorded since the nineteenth century. The recent records of the five others, Lichia amia, Caranx crysos, Seriola carpenteri, S. dumerili et S. rivoliana, from 1971 but almost 1984 are due to the global warming of the waters.
