| RESUMO. O "GeoInfo - Infraestrutura de Dados Espaciais da Embrapa" é o repositório de dados espaciais da Embrapa, criado a partir das considerações concernentes ao acesso e à ciência aberta, e, em atendimento ao Decreto Lei n. 6.666/08, que instituiu a Infraestrutura Nacional de Dados Espaciais (Inde). A Embrapa é uma instituição de pesquisa aplicada, pública, com foco na geração de soluções para a agropecuária brasileira. Estabelecido como um exemplo bem sucedido de iniciativa, o GeoInfo tem influenciado a Embrapa a promover a abertura de seus dados espaciais gerados no âmbito de suas pesquisas. | The type and only specimen of Fibrocoelia tubantiensis Van Kempen, that was housed in the palaeontological collection of the Geological Institute of the University of Amsterdam, has been reposited in the Netherlands Centre for Biodiversity – Naturalis, Leiden, the Netherlands. Syltrochos pyramidoidalis Von Hacht, placed in an uncertain order and family by Finks & Rigby, is revised on the basis of new material. This has revealed that the skeleton is composed of spheroclones, so that the species has to be assigned to the Astylospongiidae von Zittel. The species name Carpospongia langei Von Hacht is invalid, being a junior synonym of Carpospongia pogrebowi Asatkin. |

| Abstract The preferred option for disposal of short-lived low and intermediate level radioactive wastes is a near surface disposal facility in which soil is one of the barriers that avoid radionuclide migration outside the controlled area. For construction of that kind of facility, concrete is widely used, and its interaction with water induces its degradation, resulting in a high pH solution. The alkaline solution may affect the near-field environment of radioactive waste repositories, including the soil, promoting mineralogical alterations that result in significant changes in key properties of materials, compromising their performance as safety components.
