Última On two species of Archipelothelphusa Bott, 1969 (Crustacea: Decapoda: Brachyura: Sundathelphusidae) from Luzon, Philippines Naturalis Ng, P.K.L.. The taxonomic problems concerning freshwater crabs of the genus Archipelothelphusa Bott, 1969 (Gecarcinucoidea: Sundathelphusidae) are discussed. The identity of Para-Bary-thelphusa grapsoides subsp. longipes Balss, 1937, is clarified, and a new species, A. celer spec. nov. is described from Luzon, Philippines. A new genus, Arachnothelphusa gen. nov., is established for five species of Bornean freshwater crabs (Gecarcinucidae) previously placed in Thelphusula Bott, 1969. One species from Sabah, A. terrapes, is here described as new. The genus is characterised by its long ambulatory legs, shape of the carapace and structure of the male pleopods.
