Legfőbb célja, hogy a gazdáknak továbbított információk és ismeretek közvetítésével hozzájáruljon az eredményes gazdálkodáshoz, mert a gazdálkodók szakmai felkészültségében hiányosságok tapasztalhatók, jelentősek a különbségek az üzemméretekben, valamint az eredményekben. A gazdálkodók leginkább a falugazdász hálózat és az alapanyag forgalmazók képviselőivel tartanak kapcsolatot, jórészt az adminisztratív tennivalók miatt. On the other hand, a paradox situation has emerged in Hungary in the last two decades, in which such knowledge is only partially applied as a consequence of insufficient knowledge transfer and highly restructured agriculture.
