In the context of the new European Common Fisheries Policy and in particular the Landing Obligation, this report synthesizes the trials which were carried out between 2014 and 2016 on French bottom trawlers operating in the Celtic Sea and Western Channel, to decrease their discards. All the detail of the experiments and their results are attached in the voluminous appendices. Etude sanitaire de la zone 17.58 Fosse de Loix. Charente-Maritime ArchiMer

Suite à la demande d’exploitation de la zone de la Fosse de Loix par les professionnels, la Direction Départementale des Territoires et de la Mer (DDTM) a demandé la réalisation d’une étude sanitaire en vue du classement de cette zone de production pour le groupe 2. Cette étude réalisée par le Laboratoire Environnement Ressources des Pertuis Charentais (LER/PC), bénéficie d’un financement DPMA-DGAL. Basée sur le caractère microbiologique (Escherichia coli) et les paramètres chimiques (plomb, mercure et cadmium), l’étude a pour objectifs d’estimer la qualité microbiologique et chimique de la zone en vue du classement sanitaire de la zone par l’Administration conformément aux exigences du règlement CE n° 854/2004 et de déterminer la stratégie...

Simulation-based study of the combined effect on cod-end size selection of turning meshes by 90 degrees and reducing the number of meshes in the circumference for round fish ArchiMer

FEMNET, a numerical tool based on the finite element method, was used to estimate the shapes of four different designs of trawl cod-ends during fishing operations. Compared to a traditional diamond-mesh cod-end the design differences were the following: (i) the netting orientation was turned by 90 degrees (T90), (ii) the number of meshes in the circumference was reduced by 50% or (i) and (ii) were combined. The cod-end shape estimates were then entered into the simulation tool PRESEMO, to estimate their influence on the selectivity processes in the cod-end. This enabled us to predict how these design alterations - alone or combined - may act on the selectivity of each cod-end under identical fishing conditions. The Effect of Inactivation of Verticillium dahliae and Fusarium oxyporum f. sp. melonis under Anaerobic Digestion OAK

本研究は作物病原菌であるバーティシリウム菌とメロンつる割れ病菌のメタン発酵による死滅効果を明らかにすることを目的に発酵温度35℃と55℃で回分試験を行った。その結果, 微生物を90%死滅させるのに必要な時間T90は, バーティシリウム菌は35℃で7.7日, 55℃で0.6日となった。メロンつる割れ病菌は35℃で0.5日, 55℃では15分で死滅し, 共に55℃での死滅効果が高いことが明らかとなった。
