The aim of the research was to study the importance of household and community labours in tomato seed production. The data were collected by group interviews with key informants in Lad Na Pieng Village, Pier Fan Village and Hin Lad Village. Semi-structured interviews were conduction on the selected 66 households along the line of predesigned main topics. The study revealed that contract farming for tomato seed production has been launching for over 30 years. Farmers have planned to grow tomato and other plants relevant to the availability of labour in household and community. ผลของการทำ Osmopriming ด้วยสารเคมีต่างกันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงคุณภาพเมล็ดพันธุ์มะเขือเทศลูกผสม Thai Agricultural

The objective of this study was to investigatethe effects of osmopriming method with different chemicals on changes in quality of hybrid tomato seeds. The experiment was conducted at the Seed Quality Testing Laboratory Seed Processing Plant, Faculty of Agriculture, KhonKaen University. The tomato seeds were soaked in water plus PEG 6000 (-1.5 MPa) in combination with KNO3 (1% and 2%), KH2PO4 (1% and 2%) and vitamin C (1% and 2%) at 15°C for 5 days. After priming process, seed moisture content was subsequently reduced to their initial by therotating modified air seed dryer machine (Model KKU 40-2). Then, seed quality of primed seeds was tested quality. The results showed that primed seeds with PEG 6000 (-1.5 MPa)with vitamin C 2% had the highest germination...
