A new species of Torymus Dalman, 1820 (Hymenoptera: Torymidae), with additions and corrections to the revision of the European species Naturalis
Gijswijt, M.J..
Torymus interruptus spec. nov. from southern Portugal is described. A list of additions and corrections to the revision to the European species (Graham & Gijswijt, 1998) is added. The form of Torymus tipulariarum (Zetterstedt, 1838) and the “species indet.” as mentioned in the key to females, are synonymized with typical T. tipulariarum and the species is redescribed with the use of annotations by the late M. de Vere Graham.

In memoriam Prof. Dr J.T. Wiebes (1931-1999), evolutionary biologist and systematic entomologist Naturalis
Bruggen, A.C. van; Achterberg, C. van.
Born on 13 September 1931 in Rotterdam, Jacobus Theodorus [Koos] Wiebes read biology at Leiden University where he obtained his Ph.D. in 1963 on studies of Indo-Australian fig wasps. He started working on spiders (Lycosidae, Pisauridae) and beetles (Carabidae, Cetoniidae, Helodidae), but he earned his scientific reputation as a specialist in fig wasps (Hymenoptera: Agaonidae, Torymidae), their parasitoids and intricate host relationships (1961-1994: 89 papers). He served for many years on the staff of the Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie, Leiden (1955-1970, initially as assistant, later as curator of Coleoptera and as assistant director since 1965), to return as director of the newly merged national zoology and geology museums (ad interim 1982-1984,...

Revision of the European species of Torymus Dalman (Hymenoptera: Torymidae) Naturalis
Vere, M.W.R. de; Gijswijt, M.J..
In this revision the generic synonymy as proposed by Grissell (1976, 1995) is followed. The genus Diomorus Walker is here synonymised with Torymus as well, so that the tribe Torymini (sensu Grissell) includes only one genus in the West Palaearctic region. In Torymus, 154 species are recognised, 38 of which are here described as new. The existing types of nearly all names have been examined and 272 synonyms, 67 of them new, are listed. The genus is subdivided in 13 species groups, five species standing apart as species solae. Keys to the species groups, females and more distinctive males are presented.

Galls of Cecidoses eremita Curtis and Eucecidoses minutanus Brèthes (Lepidoptera: Cecidosidae) in Magdalena, Buenos Aires Province: preliminary study and associated fauna Biota Neotropica
Loetti,Veronica; Valverde,Alejandra; Rubel,Diana Nora.
Abstract In Argentina, five galling species of the family Cecidosidae (Lepidoptera), including Cecidoses eremita Curtis and Eucecidoses minutanus Brèthes, have been cited. This note reports a preliminary study of their galls in "molles" (Schinus longifolius (Lindl.) Speg.) of Magdalena (Buenos Aires, Argentina). In April 2013, galls of C. eremita and E. minutanus were censused in randomly selected "molles". In April and December 2013, randomly selected galls were then collected and transported to our laboratory in hermetic bags, and conserved at -18 ºC until examination. Maximum diameter and wall thickness of collected galls were measured. About 84% of the observed "molles" (103/123) had galls of C. eremita and/or E. minutanus. The median of galls per tree...
