牛臨床におけるComputed Radiography (CR) の有用性を確立するため,管球-カセッテ間距離およびImaging Plate (IP) の読み取り時間が画質に与える影響について検討した.管球-カセッテ間距離は画質の視覚的スコア(粒状性,鮮鋭性)に影響しなかった. IPの読み取り時間は画質の鮮鋭性と相関しなかったが,粒状性と相関が認められた.しかし読み取り時聞が12時間以内の場合には問題にならない程度であると考えられた.管球-力セッテ間距離を再現よく保つことが難しく, IP読み取り時間のばらつきが想定される牛の臨床画像診断においてCRは有用なX線撮影システムであると考えられた. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of X-ray tube-cassette distance and image scanning time on image quality to establish the benefit of Computed Radiography (CR) in bovine clinical practice. The tube-cassette distance had no effect on the visual evaluation score (graininess and sharpness). The image scanning time correlated with graininess but not sharpness.
