Relationship of rice disease epidemics and climate change for study the effect of climate change on the disease epidemics and pathogens. Cultivated rice variety RD31 and RD41 every month since January 2012 - December 2013; observed disease incidence and disease severity in seedling, tillering and panicle stage. The results showed that found rice diseases all months in RD31 and RD41 such as bacterial leaf blight disease (BLB), brown spot disease, narrow brown spot disease, dirty panicle disease, false smut disease, orange leaf disease, rice grassy stunt disease and ragged stunt disease. BLB is the major disease in these areas and found almost year in tillering to panicle stage. Severe epidemics in August and December. BLB infected RD41 more than RD31, that...

Rice cropping system in irrigated area are rice-rice continuous cultivation. Farmers try to grow rice more than 2 crops/year. Nowadays there are no break even data. The aim of this research to compare economic data between 2 crops/year and 3 crops/year rice cropping system. Experiments were conducted in farmer’s field at Lumlukka district Pathum Thani province in 2011. There were 3 experiments : using the same variety, changed variety every season and changed variety every season with short duration rice variety in the rice cropping system. Each experiment consisted of 2 treatment: 2 crops/year and 3 crops/year rice cropping system. The result shown that 2 crops/year rice cropping system gave lower total yield and income than growing rice 3 crops/year...
