In addition to the impact on climate change resulting from the use of non renewable resources [1], the depletion of existing fossil fuel sources is inevitable. A major change of strategy is required. This article presents an analysis of a Flax fibre/PLLA biocomposite life cycle compared to common glass fibre reinforced polyester composites from manufacturing to mechanical design and end-of-life. Environmental impacts have been assessed by Standardized method called Life Cycle Analysis (ISO 14044). Flax fibre/PLLA biocomposites manufactured by film stacking have, for similar mass, tensile modulus close to that of Glass/Polyester. Elevage intensif du loup Dicentrarchus labrax ArchiMer

Different seabass (Dicentrarchus labrax) intensiv rearing technics have been experimented in the pilot scale unit of our laboratory. During these upscalfing operation, the results obtained allow us to compare costs related to each fingemng production method. Closed system combined with early weaning with an efficient micropellet saves at least 69 % of direct production costs by comparison with an open system with Arternia during larval phase. However if closed systems are commonly used by private hatcheries, larval micropellets are always at experimental step.

Four marine phytoplanctonic cultures from natural inoculum of Nannodito sp. have been submitted to different fertilizers in identical light and tem­perature conditions. The composition of enrichments has been studied to introduce Nitrogen as comparative factor. One tank without nutrients and three enriched cultures, the first only with sodium nitrate, the second with "Conway medium" and the last in which nutri­ents were provided by convenient dilution of "foam", have been followed for phy­sical, chemical, biological parameters during three months. Previously to its use as culturing medium for algae, we have studied the various characteristics of the sewage extracted from marine fish rearing ponds, through a purificating system called "foamer". Qualitatively, this sewage differs from the sea water which produced it on various points : It is richer than the water in Organic Carbon, Organic Nitrogen, Ammonia, particulate matters, phosphorus and varied metals. However the concentration factors are not constant and they change in time. This sewage is toxic for some group of animals and this toxicity varies with the concentration but also the age of the product.
