การตรวจสอบความแข็งแรงของเมล็ดพันธุ์พริกหวานที่ผ่านการกระตุ้นการงอก โดยวิธีการเร่งอายุ Thai Agricultural

The objective of this experiment was to investigate effect of accelerated aging after sweet pepper seeds were primed with two types of chemical solutions. The experiment was conducted at Seed Technology Laboratory Section in Seed Processing Plant, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University. The sweet pepper seeds were soaked in two types of solutions: 1) 2.5%Chitosan 2) 2%KNO3 at 15oC for 5 hours. Primed seeds were subsequently subjected to accelerated aging at 42oC with relative humidity 100% for 10 days. The effects of seed priming on seed quality were determined after priming. การเปรียบเทียบชนิดของพอลิเมอร์ต่อการเคลือบเมล็ดพันธุ์มะเขือเทศลูกผสม Thai Agricultural

A study of different type and proportion of polymers were investigated on tomato seed quality. This experiment was conducted at seed technology laboratory, Seed Processing Plant, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University. Using three polymers type polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP-K30), polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP-K90) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). This experiment consisted of 2 parts. The first part of experiment was to study effect of type and proportion of polymers as a film former on viscosity, dissolution of film-sheet. The second part, study the effect of seed coating substances on tomato seed quality. Seven treatments were compared: uncoated seed, seed coating with PVP-K30, PVP-K90 and PVA. ผลของการทำ Osmopriming ด้วยสารเคมีต่างกันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงคุณภาพเมล็ดพันธุ์มะเขือเทศลูกผสม Thai Agricultural

The objective of this study was to investigatethe effects of osmopriming method with different chemicals on changes in quality of hybrid tomato seeds. The experiment was conducted at the Seed Quality Testing Laboratory Seed Processing Plant, Faculty of Agriculture, KhonKaen University. The tomato seeds were soaked in water plus PEG 6000 (-1.5 MPa) in combination with KNO3 (1% and 2%), KH2PO4 (1% and 2%) and vitamin C (1% and 2%) at 15°C for 5 days. After priming process, seed moisture content was subsequently reduced to their initial by therotating modified air seed dryer machine (Model KKU 40-2). Then, seed quality of primed seeds was tested quality. The results showed that primed seeds with PEG 6000 (-1.5 MPa)with vitamin C 2% had the highest germination...

The experimental study design was used to examine the effects of accelerated aging on deterioration of seed quality and electrolyte leakage of cucumber seeds. The original cucumber seeds had 99 germination percentage. The cucumber seeds were taken to accelerated aging process; in aging chamber with constant temperature 450C and 100% of relative humidity for 0-21 days. The seeds were taken every three days for 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 21 days and tested of seed quality. After that, the seeds were divided into 2 lots. In commercial corn production, small seed size is discarded from the seed lot and used as the animal feed, resulting in less profit to the seed industry. Therefore, the objective of this research was to increase seed size by seed pelleting methods. In this study, the types of filler pelleting materials and ratio of binder materials were investigated.
